Questions we're asked.
Does Brilliant Quest need access to all our systems?+
No. Discovery starts with conversations and the evidence you choose to share. System access is scoped, read-only and added one source at a time, only where it helps confirm or contradict a specific claim.
Does it make changes automatically?+
No. Brilliant Quest observes, questions and proposes. Any controlled action against a system requires explicit human approval and is logged. Nothing changes because a model thought it should.
What happens if two employees disagree?+
Both accounts are kept. The disagreement is marked as a contradiction and becomes a question to resolve with evidence, rather than being averaged away or decided by whoever spoke last.
How is this different from process mining?+
Process mining reads event logs from systems you already instrument. Much of the work that causes friction happens outside those systems: in email, spreadsheets, conversations and judgement. Brilliant Quest starts with how people describe the work, then checks it against system evidence where it exists.
How is it different from a meeting recorder?+
A meeting recorder produces transcripts and summaries. Brilliant Quest turns statements into structured claims about how work happens, tracks whether each claim has been verified, and builds a model of the operation over time.
Does AI decide what is true?+
No. AI helps interpret, organise and generate questions. A claim only becomes verified when it is supported by evidence, whether that is a system record, a document or confirmation from an accountable person.
Can we start with one process?+
Yes, and we recommend it. One well-understood process with a real owner is a better starting point than a broad programme.
Does this replace consultants?+
It changes what they spend time on. Less time reconstructing how things work from interviews; more time on judgement, trade-offs and change, which is where experienced people add the most value.
How do you handle sensitive business information?+
Information you share is used only to understand and improve your operation. Access is limited, and you can ask for data to be deleted. Formal security documentation will be shared with early partners as the product matures.
Do we need our processes documented first?+
No. Most organisations find that documentation and reality have drifted apart. Discovery is designed to work from how things actually happen today.
What kinds of organisations are a good fit?+
Organisations where work crosses several teams and systems, where a few people hold critical knowledge, and where there is a named owner who wants to understand a specific problem before changing it.
